RUTH SCHLEPPI-VERBOOM heard Joni speak for the first time in 1986 in the Netherlands and became a fan for life! Together with her filmmaker husband Helmut Schleppi they moved to the US and raised their four children. While attending the same California church, Ruth and Joni became friends. As a registered nurse, who loves cooking, Ruth had just the right skills to help Joni on Sunday nights. As empty nesters, the Schleppi’s live in the Netherlands and California, where Ruth blogs (TruthfullyRuth.com), speaks and writes.
