Shailah Edmonds had a launch party for her debut memoir, and within a week was reviewed and featured in a prominent New York newspaper, the Amsterdam News. A native of Portland, Oregon, the mother of three children, she has also been an inspirational speaker for aspiring models at several model conventions, a producer and principal of her instructional DVD’s on modeling, "The Runway To Success" which sold Nationwide for years, an actor and a singer. She co-wrote a song for soul legend Betty Wright, and her latest jazz CD, "Happiness Is Shailah Edmonds" is available on any music channel or CD Baby. She performs regularly with her jazz band in the New York City area. Shailah relocated to New York, to pursue her modeling career. After signing with the Ford agency, she soon moved to Paris, where she lived for over two years, and became a much sought after, International Couture model.
