Kitchi, a fledgling osprey, is afraid of the water. Kitchi loves to fly but because of his fear of the water, he cannot make the osprey water dive to fish for himself. Not knowing what to do, his father enlists the help of his own father, Kitchi's grandfather. Kitchi's grandfather uses unusual methods to teach Kitchi about courage. This is an inspirational story about finding courage through appreciation of joy and beauty, family bonds, and understanding of the life force in us all.
