Megwin, the carefree child with russet coloured hair, ran wild and often barefoot on the hills above the town, until the day she spoke to a fox and caused a flower to wither. That day changed her life forever. She is taken to the Talarin, the powerful College of the Mantles, to learn how to use her unique skills. As the protégé of Silver Mantle, the most important member of the Mantles’ leaders, the Souran, Megwin learns to channel and develop her powers to serve the Kingdom of Magra.
