In this paper, we will analyze two modern medical techniques, modifying DNA records and artificially assisted fertilization from the basics of the procedures themselves and the theological analysis of limiting situations in which these procedures are not recommended to be used. Nevertheless, the human desire to cross the border of legal, human, moral and ethical frameworks with the aim not only of own survival, improving health, prolonging life, but also the natural drive to preserve the species will be analyzed through the aspects of the concept of sin in different cultures and religions, as well as just doing good to others.
