Sonny feels misplaced. At twenty-two, he travels alone for the first time in Vietnam where he socializes and has relationships he’s fantasized and read about. Then he wants to reject his past and future to go traveling indefinitely. He goes on a trip to Montreal, Quebec. The memory of his first trip reels through the streets of Montreal. He meets a woman who tempts him the knowledge of his obsessions. Then he leaves to continue his journey through Ontario and then British Columbia where he finds nothing but an origin, a start to further departures.
Between genres of travel and literary fiction. Psychological, provoking, and partly auto-biographical.
