K Sripriyan is presently working as an associate professor, in the School of Mechanical Engineering, at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT Bhopal University), Bhopal, India. He has 16 years of teaching and research experience. He has published research papers in journals and conferences of national and international reputation. His areas of research include welding, mechanical properties, mechanical behavior of materials, and industrial engineering.

J. Paulo Davim, a highly accomplished full Professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, holds a Ph.D. and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in manufacturing, materials, and industrial engineering, with a focus on machining, tribology, and surface engineering. He has received prestigious awards such as the 2023 Contribution Award from the Korean Society for Precision Engineering and the 2022 Outstanding Reviewer Award from ASM International, USA. Recognized as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, his influence expands beyond academia, with honorary professorships in China, India, and Spain and roles as an evaluator for prestigious bodies like the ERC-European Research Council.
