Mattie is part of a rape survivors’ group, a sisterhood bound by shared pain and resilience. But a member of the group is brutally murdered by someone who seems to be hunting them all. Fueled by a desire for vengeance and driven by the insatiable need to protect, Mattie finds a reason to embrace her other half.

Our heroine draws the attention of FBI agent William Bennet. The case and the woman, whom he believes holds the answers, draw him in. More women from the survivors’ group are threatened, and a chilling message emerges. The murderer claimed that these women were being targeted for false accusations, a sinister twist to cast doubt on the credibility of the survivors.

William finds himself entangled in a web of secrets and half-truths as he collaborates with Mattie to hunt down the killer.
