For many years, she was senior lecturer of nutrition in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Surrey. She was also director of nutrition degrees at the University of Surrey, managing Europe’s largest undergraduate nutrition program. She is an affiliate member of the British Dietetic Association and a member of the Nutrition Society. She lives with her family in Guildford, England.
