Besides, the hotel gives Andie a new interest: an oddly shaped key taped beneath her nightstand. What does it unlock? Who put it there? Is there something else hiding in this grand old building? Andie’s determined to uncover it all.

With the help of a friend and her dog - plus a healthy dose of suspicion for Gram’s renter, Mr. Jacobs - Andie sets off on an investigation into the hotel’s history, its guests, and her family tree.

Trouble is, she’s not the only one looking. As she gets closer to the answer, so do the people who will do anything to stop her.
