Philip Andrews arrives on the mission field with outwardly impeccable credentials. Bill Svelmoe is associate professor of history at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. He grew up in the Philippines where his parents were evangelical Protestant missionaries on Mindanao Island.
