Japan - 1522. Danger approaches. 

Tsunaji is the renowned shinobi master of the Hoji ninja clan. His clan, operating from a remote mountain village, has enjoyed many years of prosperity and success under the rule of the Satsuma Daimyo. However, neutralizing the Daimyo’s enemies is not without its dangers. 

When politics and war shift and the balance of power changes, a new Daimyo emerges. His legions of soldiers and the elite Samurai warrior class are ready to descend upon Hoji Village, and only Tsunaji and a handful of his trusted shinobi warriors stand between these invaders and the utter annihilation of Tsunaji’s way of life. 

Tsunaji is forced to fight for his survival, as well as that of his wife, children, and clan, and make impossible choices with devastating consequences—the kind of choices no husband or father should have to make. Elite Samurai warriors and an unwelcome figure from the past will alter Tsunaji’s destiny an unbelievable way…
