The question that we are endeavoring to answer is not a new one: do we have ＂eternal security?＂ Many have embarked upon this journey attempting to give an adequate and accurate answer to this question. There have been a host of theologians and scholars who have focused their argument primarily on Biblical data; we will follow the same line as they.
Just as our subtitle asserts, ＂making a Biblical case for eternal security.＂ In doing so, we examine the nature of the God of the Bible as He has chosen to reveal it to us. For example, looking briefly at His Trinitarian constitution. Also, studying certain qualities of His, for instance, immutability and infinite attributes. Furthermore, we allow Jesus to weigh in on this question, as well as His Apostles. Finally, a host of theologians, both past and current, contribute to this body of work.
