The ball seemed to explode off the bat, but he had already reacted. Without looking back, he raced full speed toward the fence in deep right center field. This is his favorite part of his favorite game.

Brett Miller loves everything about baseball, from the crowd going wild at a great play to the sound the bat makes when it catches the ball just right to the joy great teammates bring. Sadly for Brett, his parents view school as more important than baseball.

When Brett misses one too many school assignments, his parents take away baseball games and practice.
