The Turner family looks like any other ordinary family, but they are far from it. Darrell Turner Sr. struggles to be the head of house that he should be. He's not a very good husband or father. Along with his frequent fights with his wife, he also fights his own demons. As a result, his wife Christina has to be Superwoman, and while she usually makes it work, even she gets worn down and out.
