Tracey Stringfellow grew up in the "Bible Belt" about 30 miles outside of Memphis, Tennessee in a little one-horse town known as Randolph. Tracey was raised with two younger brothers there, and was brought up attending an Assembly of God church in Tipton County most of her life. She was married by the age of 18, and had three children by the time she was 23 years old. Despite her upbringing in a church environment where divorce was very much frowned upon, she found herself coping with two failed marriages, bad decisions, and an ongoing chaotic life caught up in a vicious cycle of failing relationships and inner turmoil. Tracey’s struggles sparked a desire to learn more about herself, find a way to live a life of joy, and to move past the pain of broken dreams. She has always been a writer at heart, and started journaling at a very young age. It was a way for Tracey to give her pain a voice, to record and reflect upon her experiences, and to sometimes distract herself from life’s trials by creating stories, journaling, writing skits, music or songs, and finally writing books. It is her desire to share with others what she has learned through trial and error in hope that some of you might benefit from her struggles and be encouraged to overcome life’s challenges.
