Chester and Mary Travis were Christian & Missionary Alliance missionaries to French Indo-China (today known as Viet Nam) between 1925-1975. They experienced an abundant measure of Christ’s indwelling and overflowing life. One of the aims of this book is to share the unusual experiences and their unshakable faith in their Lord and Saviour.
If this book does nothing else but generate and stimulate a continuing prayer vigil for those encountering severe trials behind the “Bamboo Curtain,” it will have served well. That is all that Chester and Mary might ask of us. I pray that many who read about these missionaries’ faith will put their faith in the God who delivers those He chooses, calls, and sends into our world.

A portion of the profits from the book will be donated to Good Samaritan Medical Dental Ministry which takes a team of volunteers to Viet Nam every summer to help the poor and hurting there. Together, we can help Viet Name today!
