Unomi Al

The penultimate decade of the twentieth century was the heyday of street performing on rue Prince Arthur. It was there that the seeds of Cirque du Soleil were sown, and it was there that Unomi Al began his career as a juggler.
This story, loosely based on real people and events, takes you into the world of street jugglers of that era, moving from Canada through America to Europe and Australia, and finally to Japan.
Andy, a brilliant and celebrated young juggler, falls tragically into disgrace and misery while, in counterpoint, Al moves through a series of minor vicissitudes.
