The purpose I had in mind for this booklet was to give some idea to psychology students and intending students the variety of cases and difficulties a psychologist may encounter. It may also prove helpful to those who are considering using a psychologist, or to just interested laymen.
I majored in both psychology and education and took a Masters degree at Victoria University in Wellington NZ. I then had a post-graduate year in Data Analysis at London University, UK. My PhD data (for Clinical Epidemiology) was gathered while I was an ANZAC Fellow at the Australian National University. I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
