The research is based on formulating a series of guidelines to orient knowledge management in postgraduate distance studies with a view to contributing to increase competitiveness in the market by offering quality academic training in the national territory, in the hope that it can serve as a basis for similar institutions. I dedicate this work to my parents, for being an example of struggle and perseverance to follow. To my only son Samuel Andrés, for being my angel and the great love that fills my spirit of life.
