It’s well known that deposed dictators do not write autobiographies and so the tumultuous days before they were deposed and their flight to exile is often a mystery. Yet these last days would typically be high drama events as gripping as any action movie.

I painstakingly researched multiple media accounts of the last days of these 25 deposed dictators and wrote a dramatized account of what could have happened. I have stuck to the events as reported in multiple news sources and then imagined what the dictator and his entourage said and did as they prepared to leave power.
