A new-age spiritual organization called the Church of Oscar is taking North America and the world by storm. Its ideology is simple: only by living in harmony with Nature and other species can humanity survive. Yet deeply hidden behind its benevolent façade, the church hides a diabolical secret.

When Erwin Johnson, one of the Church leaders has a fall out with the council and leaves, a deadly cat-and-mouse game ensues. Erwin is all alone in his struggle to survive and expose his powerful opponent, and several close calls leave him physically and emotionally scarred for life.

Just when his situation seems utterly hopeless, he joins a group of young social misfits and with their help designs a plan to bring the Church of Oscar to justice. Unfortunately, it is going to take some time . . .
