After Robert Falcon is murdered during Becka’s daring escape, the fifteen year old, having never before ventured from the safe confines of the secret biogenetic laboratory installation, finds herself alone in wilderness Middlefield, Massachusetts. The same assassins who killed Falcon, are now after her. Stumbling upon two unwitting teenage survivalist scouts, David Randolph and Bruce Langford, Becka elicits their help, and the three set off on a perilous adventure to complete her mission.
