While we all belong to the human race, there are conditions, including those listed above, that occur more frequently in children of African-American ethnicity. Most of the time these are just normal variations, but some could cause problems if you as a parent are not aware of them Please join me as I journey through the first year of life for an African-American child. I will highlight what you need to know in order to be an advocate and champion of your child's health.
