In today's world of ever-increasing divorce rates, author, Katie Kolberg Memmel, has wondered what it is that truly makes the difference. For as long as she can remember, Katie has been interested in hearing about people's real and enduring love stories. Though some of these stories have similarities, they're also each quite unique. No one she interviewed was born into wealth, and no one has completely avoided trouble. Author, Katie Kolberg Memmel, was born and raised in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She dedicated most of her adult life to raising her family. She has two grown children: Tony (married to Lesleigh), and Megan (married to Joe). In 2015, she was elated to add the title of ＂Grandma＂ to her personal resume. She happily resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin with her husband, ＂Grandpa＂ Todd. Katie has written two prior books. In 2012, she released, ＂Five Fingers, Ten Toes - A Mother’s Story of Raising a Child Born with a Limb Difference.＂ It is her personal story of raising her son, Tony Memmel, born without his left forearm and hand. In the book, she shares her deepest fears and worries as well as her ultimate trust and victories. Tony has gone on to become a Singer / Songwriter, and lives in Nashville. In 2015, Katie released, ＂Silly Stories and Sentimental Stuff.＂ Based off of her blog, Katie’s View, the book is a compilation of some of her most humorous, and most heart-felt short essays.
