Book Two of the Felis Alliance Series begs the question, “What is the cost of Vengeance?”

Living in a world devoid of technology, in a continuum that appears completely alien to her, the Sovereign of the Felis Alliance consigns herself to the fact that all that she knows, all that she remembers, is of a life that no longer exists. If she wants to return to that which she recalls, the continuum she is certain she should be in, she must work with a man she barely knows to try and prevent the destruction of the known universe.

But is it already too late? They are living on a planet that should be bristling with technology and none exists. It seems that all they can do is wait and hope that someone from the Alliance finds them and rescues them from this alternate time stream.
