When Cameron Bennett allows his widowed mother to move in, he’s acutely aware of the dangers and strain it will place on his marriage of five years to his wife, Sydney. Plagued by emptiness, Sydney finds consolation in using her body and attractiveness to get the attention she seeks from her husband. Her beauty becomes the primary attribute she uses to define her value. Cameron and Sydney’s lives take an unexpected turn when a tragic incident occurs, involving someone they both know.
