Most of Nigerian citizens are not informed about the National Value System which is partly constructed with the use of The Pledge, the new and old Anthems. Consequently, malpractices that range from cheating during the examinations to electoral fraud seem to have grown into bacteria that kill patriotic spirit of the nation. Invariably, the same bacteria also give births to vices and crimes which are the causes of economic and political catastrophes.
