Of all the wonderful promises God gives, the Lord is my Sheppard is one of the most gloriously one. He promises to set a table for us, spread wonderful food upon it, and then serve us a feast. We all know when God caters; it will not be just any ordinary meal; He will spread our table with food; escorts us to our seat where our enemies will sit on the outer boarder of the scene and watch everything unfolds. They watch in shock as we fill up our souls with heaven's delightful blessings.
 
No demon, including the devil himself, could ever comprehend this kind of love. They were sure God was going to strike you down for your failures, were prepared to stand over you gloating, as you fell into destruction, that unplanned pregnancy, failing marriage; those children getting out of hand; your drinking habit. Yet now they have been ordered to watch as you feast on food served by God himself. They're forced to observe how the Lord serves you; how He changes each and every situation; how He changes all the curses into blessings. “Thou prepare a table in the presence of my enemies”.
