ABOUT THE BOOK

Life can be likened to a winding road; some parts smooth and others riddled with gravel and rock. For ＂Tabi＂ it seemed as if her journey would be a rocky one, peppered with obstacles and barriers as tough as stone.

Having been born in desperate poverty, Tabi’s life would become an uphill battle against the odds. As she navigated loss and sadness, heartbreak in love, shame and despair, the obstacles were proving to be stepping stones; precious stones that lead her to a horizon of hope.

Nomthandazo Vena Kalani is an accomplished, self-taught fuel retail business woman. She has honed her skills in ＂the school of life＂ and has garnered the respect of her peers for her resilience and strength in the face of adversity.

Nomthandazo prides herself in her latest and greatest accomplishment; being an author. An achievement that has motivated her to cease the moment and realize her dreams while it is still day.
