Once in generation a book comes along that changes how we view parenting. Dr. Spock's Baby & Childcare, first published in 1946 was the parenting manual for millions of families. Other books followed such as the What to Expect series, Playful Parenting, and Parenting with Love & Logic. Most guys would rather jump off the tallest building in town than read any of those books, so they pretty much wing it when they have kids.

The time has come for a book that speaks in the language of the common man—a parenting book for today's generation of guys who are trying to raise daughters. However, until that book comes along, try reading this book by W. T. Dupree (also known as "Dub T" or simply "Dub").

Author Chris DiMarco partners with family man Dub T to tell the story of the Dupree Family—Dub and his four daughters and his loving wife Misty, a former exotic dancer. The book examines a number of topics beginning in the baby years, through the "tweens" and into the teens. Dub T. provides a comical look at difficult subjects such as potty training, school days, quality time, coping with death, boyfriends, and feminine hygiene.

Dub T is clearly a man who has learned to raise kids through trial and error. Fortunately, he is presenting his mistakes to dads everywhere to learn and be the best dads they can be to their girls.
