Global Voices for Peace is a remarkable collection of reflections on themes related to the state of peacebuilding across the world. It instills hope for increasing the conscious discourse on peace as opposed to war, and encourages individual active participation in the peace process.

Each contributor has offered their thoughts, reflections and actions in response to questions such as ＂What needs to happen for humanity to find a way to peace for our world, our communities, and our societies? What actions can be taken - can we take - now to move this forward? ＂

Featuring inspiring thoughts on the possibility of peace from approximately 100 peacebuilders, Global Voices for Peace introduces us to a diverse network of individuals, groups and organisations from more than 50 nations, who work directly to bring peace to their neighbourhood, community, and society as well as on the global stage. Contributions include reflections from well known peacebuilders and activists, including Ruth Gaby Vermot, Irene Santiago, Cynthia Enloe, Tom Woodhouse, Gary Mason and others, as well as individuals working on the frontlines. This anthology also introduces readers to the intersections between peace and conflict, and the climate and environmental crises, food insecurity, inequality, gender, migration, sport, colonialism, and mental health. The focus on peacebuilding is broadly presented through reflections on personal, family, community, societal, and global peace work.

Global Voices for Peace is designed for a curious reader who seeks to learn more about the work being done to build a more peaceful society and world. It invites ongoing discussion and discourse on peacebuilding and conflict prevention, and challenges the reader to not just think more about the peace process but to act individually and to actively participate in promoting peace.
