Introduction
This is Book One of a trilogy with the same title. The sacrifice in the Sahara has a special place in the category of immensely touching and heart-palpitating suspense-filled stories that ravage the soul. It also provides ample insight into some of the hitherto undocumented perils, culture of impunity, survival and mystery in the Sahara.
The intervention of natural and spiritual forces impacting on mortal affairs imprint on the mind of the reader a slice of the historic asset of this novel.
What will be the fate of an African man, Boison in his quest for economic survival when he decides to enter Europe through unlawful and distasteful routes in the desert, Sahara?
What will be the outcome when he meets a young American woman, blonde bombshell Hilda supposedly stranded at the foot of Ahaggar Mountains in the Sahara?
Perhaps, he has every opportunity to fall in love with Hilda in the Sahara. But does he?
Even in the midst of affliction, can her beauty, graceful personality and charisma exert any meaningful influence on him?
Why is the American woman in the Sahara of all places on earth?
She has not been travelling alone. So who are the companions of Hilda?
What will be the fate of the American woman?
If these intriguing questions baffle you then pause and ponder on this dramatic story that is certainly bound to engage your inner thoughts on the karma of an African man and an American woman from different locations on the globe.
Boison is a University graduate bartered by the appalling socio-economic upheavals in his country. He is determined to risk his life and cross the Sahara to Europe and strive for a better life so that he can support his poor family and his impoverished community in Africa.
Then by the twist of fate, he comes upon a charming American woman at the foot of Ahaggar Mountains in Tamanrasset, Algeria. Hilda has her own agenda to be in the Sahara.
His loyalty is now divided between his friends and brothers who are also on the same mission and Hilda.
Book Two and Book Three will reveal the rest of the story.
